Another budget build. This one ran me $15 at the LMS. Others that failed to make the cut, several P-61 offerings, an Airfix Blenheim Mk IVF, a J1N1 (a close runner up), a Ju 88C, and another Hasegawa Fw 190A-6. In the end the determining factor was price, and the fact that I could raid my son's paints.
I am very pleased by first impressions. A lot of detail for 1/72. Recessed panel lines, an extensive decal sheet, wire bits for the radar dipoles.
Unlike the later Eduard and Airfix kits they actually have a manageable number pf parts in this kit. Should be a fun one and go fairly quick, the glue up that is.
