First up of a possible Three will be the Extended wingtip Mk.VIII flown by Australian Flying Officer Larry Cronin of 81 Squadron RAF, Depicted after his 4th Victory, his victory markings are carried within the Ace of Spades insignia on the cowling.

There is only one image of Cronin as shown below leaning against the wing of his Spitfire with the aforementioned victory markings in the background,

Very nice Wayne. Went through my GB55 build and there were only a few annoying instances, the oft mentioned 2 piece upper cowl parts for one

That 2 part upper cowl....I really don't understand why they did it that way.....easy fix though...but why??

Easy, because Eduard makes aftermarket resin parts that replace stuff like this.
