Thanks fellas.

So before i begin painting this one.

You can clearly see the white band on the wings and the white band on the nose along with the white spinner.
But what about the tail and fin, some profiles show them, some dont, any thoughts ?
 
As memo serves the kind of the "IFF" was introduced with the P-51, P-47 and the Tempest Mk.II about the end of the 1943. The yellow or white for the camouflaged kites and the black for the NMF ones. Although the bands should be applied on the nose, the wings, the vertical and the horizontal tail surfaces these on the fin+rudder weren't. Or these were overpainted often. In case of the RAF stuff there was the fin flash on the vertical surfaces contrary to the USA kites and that was the reason for not applying IMHO. There were variations though. So you should follow a picture of the particular aircraft or other planes of the squadron at the same time. The FB387 didn't have them on the fin.

and other Mustangs of the no. 315 Squadron ... the PK-I slightly blurred but the white bands can be noticed.
