GB-64 1/72 P-51B - One Trick Pony

Fuselage was bare metal, wings painted aluminum. Either way, I don't bother with the black coat any more, but that's just me.

Olive drab and invasion stripes are done. Ready to do the aluminum. While correcting the canopy I cracked it. It's very thin fragile clear plastic. So far I have had no luck on their website trying to order a replacement. Be handy to be able to read Polish !

Looking good, but shame about the canopy. There may be a vac-form canopy in this scale, there certainly is in 1/48th scale.
