I have several jets, all in 1/144 but I'm going to commit to my plan to do 3 Phantoms. I should be able to do all the cockpits at the same time and with little detail in there not much work to do. Paint the outside, a few decals without the hundreds of maintenance marks to put on, landing gear and a few tanks and/or bombs and done. :-\" To those who dither at the start of a GB, I'm the exact opposite. I LOVE thinking about what to build from the moment the GBs are announced. I'm even thinking about what the next cycle could be. Airframes Airframes , I understand the upset that house renovations can cause, but once it's done, it will be so much nicer.

I like the perfect crease lines, that's a good touch!

Damned annoyed !
Been going through stuff and collecting bits and pieces for the Jaguar builds, and found a ladder in the spares box which, with some minor adjustments/additions would be perfect as a Jag crew ladder.
I was holding it in a pair of tweezers, checking where to do the mods, when it "pinged", never to be seen again !
Very annoying, as this ladder was from a Monogram F-100 kit, and had been stored away for over 40 years !!

I'm still looking for it, but I may have to buy a pack of two 3D-printed ladders, in order to complete the model as planned, at a cost which is around half the cost of the Heller kit, and more than the current second-hand prices of the ESCI kit !
