and moving on......

The cockpit is done and mated to the fuselage port side. the outside bomb racks and installed on the two sides.

the instructions call for 50 grams weight in the section behind the cockpit (the flight engineer sets in this section but is not depicted in either the Monogram kit not the ICM kit. I have some old lead in sheets and have cut of a 54 gram section that I will try and install here. It's the croett width to fit and can be made to contour to the inside of the fuselage.

Not a problem, easy day surgery, in and out in a couple of hours with a nice patch for a night, taken off next morning and all done.
It's just the waiting till it's scheduled. Been having a harder time seeing and I thought it was my prescription but he said nope!!!! VA will take six months to schedule so he's having it scheduled locally. Hopefully soon.

I know the feeling, Don. I'm still waiting as well, Next month he's taking pictures so its gonna be at least that long
Fingers crossed for the both of you that it all happens soon.

Well here's my latest update. On going mind you but I am LOVING this kit so far..

Aft left side,

I used PtintScale decals for the yellow rings. Some say they are too much trouble. I did really have any issues. Lots of Micro Set and decal and Micro Set and they fold into place. Micro Sol to finish it off.

Left side, still working but dry fitting the bomb bay section.

Aft Rt side. the runners for the gunners windows on either side. I'm thinking of at least one patchally open.

Torrent with out guns. The Kelix 3D set has seat chousin and belts for the seat.

Bomb racks installed and bay together

Aft section getting near done.
