GB Finish just over the horizon (1 Viewer)

Gentlemen, the end of this Group build is fast approaching as the last day is in fact 7th June.
We don't have many over the Line at this stage, so who is aiming to get done?

Yes, the end of the GB is very close and I risk not being able to complete my Z506.
Too bad I really wanted to do it but work commitments prevented me from doing it ...
In any case, I will try to complete it anyway... Sorry

I'll definitely finish it this week; I'm already seeing the effects of weathering and there's not much more I'm going to do.

Yes, I am bit worried about time. Accessory engines spent some additional time, evening "TV sleepness" also...
Nobody fault but mine.

I will try to finish mine seaplane, even if I was hoping for two weeks of extra time.

Thanks for the extra time but this is a future zombie or On the Workbench. The lower wings have waaay to much anhedral because I couldn't get the upper struts to fit. The tail, the rear crew and engine are dry fitted to show more of what it might be someday. I'm trying to extend the outer struts by glueing layers of card on the end to stretch them to fit. I love biplanes but I'm not good at building them. But don't count me out in the future.

A huge shout-out to A4K for suppling the Airfix decals for this build. Thank you my friend.

Fantastic diorama, and you're very welcome Alan. (They are actually mostly Revell decals, only the wing roundels are Airfix). Just left a comment on your GB thread regarding maybe a clear acrylic stand for extra effect.

Re the strut issue, I first glued the lower wings in place on mine, and the centre struts on the fuselage (because they were the same colour as the fuse). I then glued the wing struts into the top wing, again as same colour, but also to fill the big join, and held the top wing in place on the kit with rubber bands around the wings to keep them straight while these dried.
When dry, I was able to remove the top wing with struts in position, and paint and mark them as a seperate unit before attaching permanently. (Atleast until we moved, when they received their first breakage and losses...all repairs since then!)
