Well, as I've already said in another thread, My Osh adventures have taken a turn from the usual photofest were I take umpteen thousand pics over the 7 days to the point that although I will have my camera with me next year, it will probably stay at the campsite thru the day as I will be soo dayum busy.
I think I managed to get something like 1400 pics this year because it was full on each day and the few times I did have my camera, it was rarely ready !
I won't post a load of pics in one go but will spread the ones I want to share singly
I'll start with this one.
I get invited up on top of the Air Boss tower to watch the remainder of the afternoon show. I'm busy chatting to a few of the crew up there when one of the guys up there says 'WOW !!!, I turned around and had just enough time to lift the camera and turn it on before BLAM !.
When you are underneath a Jug doing Mach Jesus barrelling down and curving onto the display line about 60 feet above were you are standing...it's an event !. Yes, that is the ariel on the tower in pic !
The noise from the clockwork under the hood and that huge prop was just utterly astounding and then with a whoosh...and yes we did feel the sliptstream !...he was over and we had the smoke settle down on us. Pure Bl**dy magic to witness that at such close quarters I can tell ya !!
Just pure magic !!
