Good day.
My name is Miguel and I have just joined this forum yesterday and decided to start my account off with an introduction.
What initially brought me here was to collate some Erection and Maintenance Manuals for the main landing gears of the P-38 Lightning because I plan to recreate it in SolidWorks out of personal interest and as a personal project as a 2nd-year mechanical engineer. As I have gone through the threads related to the P-38 Lightning, I realized that this forum is a gem that I have yet to find.
This forum contains knowledge that Wikipedia and Reddit cannot replicate. The extensive amount of threads that involves people that have years of knowledge just brings joy to me. I cannot wait to go through several threads of several WW2 aircraft that I like such as the P-61 Black Widow, P-51 Mustang, and, of course, the P-38 Lightning.
I look forward to conversing with all of you and I hope you have a wonderful day.
Cheers,
Miguel
