Where are you going for your research questions?
I am looking for the code, GN*?, for a 249 squadron Hurricane Mk.1, serial number L1715.
It was flown by, and had a crash landing at Acklington in England 15 July 1940.
Can you help in identifying this plane?

Hi. Actually I have looking for information in many books and I have contacted many modelers / hystorian in different forums.
I will see if I can find what you asking me in the Manson's book.

Sorry for not been updating my post before.

Thanks to our very good friend Luis, we have the decals to conclude this series counting 109 Hurricane and Sea Hurricane.





Here is the last batch almost done. I will post the final photos soon.

Hello to all of you.

My father has finished the last model of our Hawker Hurricane / Sea Hurricane sub collection.

I believe that he has done a extraordinary job building these lovely models in so little time. It took me two years to select the aircrafts and find the related information for each one and my father built all of them in one year and a half.

As part of our main goal, the intention of this project was to show the history and the develpment of the Hawker Hurricane during the world war two between the limits of our collection.

We tried to make each one as best as we could, checking and double checking not only the information of our files but also asking other modelers and hystorian.

Of course you will probably find mistakes but please keep in mind that we built 109 models.

As I mentioned before, many people have helped us with project not only by sending us photos and personal information but spending time with further explanation about the history of specific aircrafts.

We do not have enough words to say: MANY THANKS.

That is a heck of an impressive line up ! Very well done, and I particularly like the presentation of the 'Hurricats'.

More impressive than your fleet of these impressive birds is the relationship it sounds like you have with your father. What a great thing this hobby has done for both you, and I commend you both.

Again, this is just awesome!

This is unbelievable! It is the largest collection of a single type, I have ever seen.
Maybe I just did not see the wood behind all the trees Do you have or plan a Hurricane Mk V?
