I'll post in WWII General shortly.
In the mean time I did some research last night and discovered that a book had been written about the E&A story and there was so many other bits and pieces related including the story attached to the pacific wrecks link to the aircraft serial number. So what you will see is an original copy for Joe Hogan who is the RAAF intelligence Officer.
Edit - And to my amazement the chap in the story is from Adelaide and the pilot was from Adelaide also.
I'll edit the scans and post up.
