I've lurked on and read the forum for a while - figured it would make sense to actually join some day.

My interest in aircraft is both professional (aviation modelmaker) and as a hobby - thus the username. My particular interests are RAF/FAA stuff from 1930s to present; so expect me to dwell in and around that kind of area on the site!

Thanks! Ask and ye shall receive. At the risk of making the forum fall over I'll put up a few images.

I'm mainly working on post-war stuff at the moment but I do WW2 subjects from time to time; primarily the bigger multi-engine types.

Forums like this one are a port of call for any snippets of information that aren't necessarily to be found in reference books - particularly if a poster has actually flown/operated/fixed the type has some gems which come in handy when it comes to replicating them. Sadly less the case now with WW2 stuff but still plenty of people who remember the post-war era in detail.
