I'm new to this forum and my hobby is building computer generated models. There are about 100 of them on my blog at: Tom's Blender Models

My current project is the 1903 Wright Flyer, the most difficult part of which was figuring out the rigging for the wing warping. Until, I found Skyediamonds' very helpful tutorial. Thank you so much. My headache is much better now!

Amazing work, especially if using Blender. I 'grew up' using SolidWorks and Catia and am in the process of transitioning over to Blender. Not an easy task, so I appreciate the work that has been done. I'll assume a 3-D printer? Which one?

Thanks. I've made 3D printer models for other people, but I don't have a printer of my own. Blender is surely a gig bit to swallow, but time/experience seems to work for me.

I thought I had a great solution, SolidWorks Maker. At $99 per year, what a deal. Turns out my internet connection is not up to snuff. There goes my plans to replace the 1/72 parts the carpet from hell ate. Still may get a 3D printer and try and drive with Blender!
