Hi, I just joined today. I have a keen interest in all aspects of aviation from all time periods, both military and civil.
I used to be a cadet in the Air Training Corps and have had several air experience flights where I got to take the controls of the dE Havilland T.10 Chipmunk which we flew back then. I have also been lucky enough to take the controls of a 2 seater Spitfire (MJ627)
I also happen to live in the town the Spitfire made its maiden flight from.
I have a small collection of aircraft parts, and am rebuilding the front cockpit of a Tornado GR1 and have recently obtained a few relics of WWII aircraft, 2 bits of Spitfire and 1 part of a BF109.
