This is actually an electric motor. The gerät-nr 19-5542 B-1 and W.Nr 93969 is stamped on the case and can be seen in IMG-2. Also, Lg 30 is stamped on the endplate in IMG-7
where you can see the power terminals numbered 1, 2 and a low power connection 3. This looks to be a fairly powerful motor, possibly 1.5kw, 24v with the forced-air cooling shroud.
The simple stamped numbering would indicate quite late-war production.
Unfortunately, I do not have further info on this item. I would expect that this was from a large aircraft, possibly a motor from an automatic-pilot powerpack that operated flying controls.
