Thanks!
KE+IX is same plane which Hitler used when he visted Finland to
celebrate Mannerheim´s 75th birthday.
Mannerheim also used this same plane during his visit to Germany, later on the same year.
FMP - 4.6.1942

Video where Mannerheim returns, KE+IX is clearly seen on background.

Great photos, thanks for sharing.
It's great finding new material like this and comparing with what is already known. It serves to add to the base of already established knowledge, and fills a few more gaps in the record of the time.

Awesome pics. I particularly liked the crashed Fokker D-XXI with the pilot leaning on the spinner. One can only imagine what he's thinking/saying!

The MS-406s in German markings were also very interesting as was the Brewster (you can never have too many Buffalos!).

thought the staggerwing was interesting, looks like civilian markings except for the finnish swastika.

Thank you for sharing these lovely photos! I've been interesed in WWII Finnish aviation ever since I got IL2 Forgotten Battles. They were terrific airmen. If you ask the average person what country's pilots in WWII had the second highest scores, they'd never guess it was Finland!
