What did the 3. Panzergrenadier Division have in common with the Hs 123? The division was created in March 1943 in France and moved to the Italy in the mid of the year . The plane is wearing the old, small balknekreuz used for the pre-war markings and used until 1939/40 while the new larger was introduced. Something doesn't fit here ....

But a nice image.

Also no headrest, and the A/C looks very new in the photo, not a well worn 6-8 year old survivor. But agreed very nice picture!
