Really impressed with this kit,the packaging was superb with the clear and delicate parts wrapped in cushioning material.
I left the gun bay doors open to give it a try and pleased with result. My usual Tamiya acrylics over Ultimate primer used and even tried a bit of free hand airbrushing for the camouflage. Looking at the images I do seem to lay the paint on too thick and will address this issue on the next build.

Thanks to all, much appreciated.
Very nice assembly and finishing. I just finished this 1/72 Hasegawa Me 262 A-1a. Could be completed as 1a or 2a version. The kit was dated 1985, and as a result the decals dissolved when dipped in water, so the "fictitious unit" markings and other insignia were taken from my stash of leftover decals. This one had many missions, and managed not to get shot up flying or on the ground.

Upper camo is Vallejo 71.011 RLM 83 Dark Green; Tamiya XF-27 RLM 70 Black Green (don't have RLM 81 brown violet - sheltering in place at home), underside paint is Vallejo 70.907 RLM 78. Chipping is Tamiya XF-16 flat aluminum. Overall black/burnt umber oil wash, with black pastel chalk soot. I've been at this for about a year, I'm not yet very good at painting canopy frames this small, so this one is unauthentically clear and bright. Maybe next time.

Enjoy seeing the other builds. Thanks. Byron from Boise, Idaho

Excellent build Ron. Unfortunately, I will have to settle for building my Monogram and Lindberg kits for the time being. Yes, I know, I dared to utter Lindberg.:)
