How do you scratch build your seat belts?

I am curious to see how many of you scratch build your own seat belts for the different scales and such. Would love to see how you do it. Pictures are a must

In 1/48, I have used Tamiya tape and the metal from those little tea light candle cut into 1mm strips. I haven't mastered using wire for the buckles, etc., so I use a #000 brush and silver colored paint and use real seat harnesses for references. If you look back in the Recent Purchases, you will notice I bought enough P.E. harness sets to outfit a squadron.

I like masking tape. And as Bill has noted, there are many examples in the tips section.

Also use Tamiya tape mostly, though ciggy papers are good too. Wojtek's thread is probably the best reference like the guys said.
