So I am building a wooden RC Macchi 202. I finished the wing and looked at the instructions and realized I forgot the ailerons. I am thinking of cutting out two long strips of balsa and connect them to the wing supports (with the ones in between getting glued onto the balsa. OR I can glue small pieces in between the wing structures and have the small sticks hold them to attach to the sides of the a wing.
If you need me to clear anything up just ask

Making of the ailerons depends on how large your model is going to be . Judging by the drawings it is not of the very large scale. The easiest way for making the ailerons is shortening of the aerofoils at the trailing edge and attaching of one long strip of quite hard balsa . See the pisc below. At the areas where the aileron hinges are going to be the stiffeners should be added. In the two shots below these are the balsa blocks.

Or if the model is large the aerofoils should be shortened too. The trailing edge should consist of the top and bottom balsa strips with a balsa slat between them. In the case the trailing adge should look like the "]" bracket in its cross section.

In both cases the aileron leading edge should be made in the same way or like in the first way at least depending on the model scale.
