I think it is the 2003 EAA show at Oshkosh WI. but I am not positive of that. I found the photo on a couple of sites but no real information about it. But it does have a Russian Registration number on it.
But I also found this additional picture of the same A/C in what looks to be the same locations that was taken on July 31st 2003 at the Oshkosh - Brennand Seaplane Base here

And yet it's still ugly! I have a real soft spot for flying boats and floatplanes and have seldom seen one that wasn't attractive to look at...I guess the YC-125C is the exception that proves the rule.
