IL2 Forgotten Battles Screenshots...

The P-38 pilot would have to make a huge mistake for a D3A to shoot him down. All guns blazing on a P-38 would shred any Japanese plane.

i pulled a little bit down and he wasted ammo, AI in IL-2 never learn so he kept shooting at the same point

The P-38 pilot was dumb enough to dogfight a japanese plane, D3As were known to shoot planes down (early in the war) just like the SBDs did

Dogfighting a D3A is hardly a difficult task, you should win everytime whatever the fighter unless you make a dreadful error. One such error is putting your engines forward to the enemy so he can shoot out your cooling system ... which is obviously what happened with you.

Unless he has Realistic Gunnery switched off, thus making the shells 3x more destructive..

Good shots though, the Spitfire one is excellent...

Hell yeah...I have a screen shot of me taking down about 5 B-29's in pretty much 1 go with a B-239...

Sometimes I put Invincibility on to get good screenshots, but most of the time I have the settings pretty realistic.

me too, I play rather close to realistic with unlim weapons on
it took me more than 8 passes to get that P-38, yes i shot that P-38 with realistic gunnery on,

I know P-38 AI like to dive and do head-on attacks alot, some are stupid enough to dive at low alt and crash

I like eggs :toothy5:

Excellent shots, fellas. You both have some really cool ones in there.

I always keep the ammo limited if its a relatively short hop. On long missions I'll sometimes switch on unlimited ammo, just so I'm not flying around watching my wingmen have a field day, or getting their asses shot out of the air while I'm just a target for the enemy as well. The AI still acts kinda weird at times. Every now and then my wingers will get excited and fly right into each other as soon as the enemy is spotted. One even sliced my Gladiator in half when I ordered him to cover me. Dumbass!

nice Terrance and Philip siggy, dude, I never really fly with wingmen, i always fly against 3 or 4 AI in Quick missions

is it possible to actually buy RAM and replace the one i have? cause i only use 256MB RAM, so i can't really do kamikaze missions

good shots there les

Sure you can add RAM. If say you wanted to upgrade to 512MB or even 1GB, you can buy the RAM chips and there should be additional slots for them on your motherboard.

And it's not Terrance and Phillip, it's NS and Hussars. ;)

wonder what has gotten into you to to make such siggies?
can RAM chips actually be replaced in ur PC?
and Can a GeForce 6200 for AGP 8x fit into an AGP 4x slot?

I like my new siggy. :toothy5:

Yes, you can replace the RAM chips in your PC. Just remove the ones that are there and install the new ones. There are a few different types of RAM though, like SD RAM and DDR RAM, so be sure you know what you want.

As for the video cards, you'll have to check your slots and be sure that your motherboard will support the newer type. That's the problem I'm running into at the moment. My motherboard is too damn old to support any of the newer stuff these days.

well, I'm planning to buy RAM soon, say are there 1GB RAM chips? and how much?
and some more shots
