Besides the above, running in OpenGL (In game under "Hardware Setup"->"Video Modes") and from that getting the option to run "Landscape Detail" in "perfect" mode (In game under "Hardware Setup"->"Video Options"). Can't think of any others ATM.

Yea, and also using a plane that has 4x 30mm cannon in it helps alot Dave....

Heres an older shot that I still think kicks ass....
Yep, the 4 30s do a world of hurt, but when I fire, I just ease the trigger, getiing maybe a half-second volley at best. Allows me to extend my ToT...

And that '109 with the "enhanced" cooling does look familiar...good angle on the screenshot makes it a classic!

Nice attack on the lead, though I tend to avoid head-ons myself...too much can go wrong...lol

We also run a few "retro" missions that have biplanes and the TBM bomber in it...complete with barrage balloons and stuff

Now these screenshots are mostly to antagonize Rasenpfeil

First is a "what is it" and the second shows me doin' a little work in it

I don't antagonize easily... however.... is the first one from IL-2? because I don't recall ever seeing that parked anywhere on the tarmac....

inquiring minds NEED to know....

Here's one in a Mossie. Unfortunately I got killed later in the game...
Then there's a WWII biplane battle.

I noticed you posted BMP's. In today's age of broadband that isn't a big file to DL, but JPG or PNG files are much smaller and thus load much faster. If your upload speed is low, the difference in time it takes to upload will be huge.

Oh, right... screenshot thread.

Checking the positions and sizes of gauges and experimenting with GIMP and perspective stretching to get cockpit photo's to fit correctly.

LOL...you should have guessed it, man!

Its an He100 I believe....
Dang close...as a matter of fact, it has it's lineage based on the He100...

or a Ki61 dressed as an He100
Yep! Good guess

It's the Ki-61 Hein from IL-2 1946 in He100D dress.
