Found this when my wifes Mom passed away recently. It was found in her Grandfathers WWII foot locker. He was with the Seabees 130th. I was told by family members he found it on a dead Japanese pilot that had crashed landed on a Island. Any translation would be helpful. I can get better pics but I dont want to handle it that much. I'll see if I can. It is in excellent condition.

So the pilots name was Mr. Shimano Shohei? So is this an older Japanese writing? Almost looks Chinese to me
