Regular visitors are familiar with my granddaughter Penny. Check out her glasses for big news. End of September, early October.

Penny is an invitro baby and so too will her little brother or sister. Two true miracles of modern medicine.

Mother Superior and I are over the moon. It has been a long road with multiple failed transplants along the way but my son and daughter in law never gave up despite the setbacks.

I think I need a beverage!

My daughter got married yesterday and for the first time in about 3 years all four of my granddaughters were together. Penny, the youngest, came in from Saskatchewan for the wedding to complete the set. Happy day for Grandpa!

Fewer and fewer working grain elevators are left across the Canadian prairies but Milestone Saskatchewan is home to one. A spur line runs along the back of the elevator with steel rails made by Algoma Steel in 1905
