Any confirmed data on this? Assumigg e.g. 2000 kg bombload, which had the best range? Generally available data is generally very poor on this, especially various bomload/fuel combinations.

For 4000 lbs (~1800 kg) bomb load and at most economical speed, the Marauder III was good for 1200 miles of range (= not radius), the B-25J was good for 1316 miles. RAF data for Marauder, using 800 imp gals (~960 US gals); USAF data for B-25J, on the fuel volume not specified, while the max fuel in protected tanks is stated at 1137 US gals.
Do 217E (BMW 801A) was carrying max 2960L (~780 US gals) in protected internal tanks when either 1800 kg of bombs was inside (E-1) or 3000 kg (E-2), however, the range data is elusive for me by this moment. The E-2 was also capable to carry a bomb bay fuel tank when other bomb bay housed 2000 kg bomb load, total internal fuel going to ~3700 L (~980 US gals). The drop tanks were also a possibility, along with external bombs, in that case bomb bays housing the fuel - a combination of 2000 kg wort of bombs, and some 4470L (~ 1180 US gals) of fuel total for the E-1.
