Hi,
I downloaded this and saw that it was a Neptune equipped plane. Does anyone know more about this aircraft?

the craft might be from NJG 6.

photo from 1945, I./NJG 3 noted for their Gardening operations. photo sent to me via former BF Teddy Hessenmüller of the unit. Great guy to interview ~ the CO is right in the middle with the white shirt.

from assibiz- and KG 66 which was known for flying the S-1/S-3 and the dotted camo patterns. Z6 code.

Is that blue?

yes a very dark blue and the meander/welle pattern camo of sand. Anti ship camo I suppose.

That's wild. was the RLM number for that blue?

Could that blue be RLM 24, perhaps?

According to Michael Ullmann that's the RLM 83 Dark Blue ( Dunkelblau) for Luftwaffe aircraft in the MTO. It is said to be another variant of RLM 81.

almost braunviolett...RLM 81 but 83 Dunkelgrün ? according to a German colour chart.....too many variations ~
