I am located in the North West Tennessee area and looking for someone with an F4U Corsair. I have always been interested in this plane and I will be giving a speech about it soon. I would love to check one out and take some pictures for visual aids in my speech.

Here's a list of surviving Corsairs and Owner/locations (some may need updated). Off the top of my head, none of them that close to NW, Tenn. How far are you willing to travel?
I'm was hoping not to go more than a few hours. Thank you for the help!

Hi JettPlane01,
here's a popular list of "Corsair" survivors - AFAIK known to many of us:
Vought Corsair Registry - A Warbirds Resource Group Site
You can go to Google and type "aviation museum near me" and see which museums you can easily visit, then just search their collections.
But if you need good pictures of a "Corsair", there are several free walkarounds on the web or you can write to a really big museum and ask them for official photos, like the NASM in Washington D.C. for example:

P.S. I did the above photo when visiting NASM in 2011, it's not an official one.
Cheers!
