Natter is basically a can with small wings and rocket pods. Probably a lot easier to reproduce from scratch than a Komet with its rather delicate aerodynamics (as indicated by the multiple replicas already in existence).

Well what I am thinking with all these replicas in existence :-

1. Why not take one, fit some rockets and gyro stabilized controls, and a chute (as per the original)

2. Fit in a crash-test dummy. Fire the whole thing over the ocean somewhere - see what it does

3. If you end up with a dustbin full of charcoal then you will know it is not a good idea to 'ride the light fantastic'

The Dummy gets the hot-ass poker, but apart from that no harm done - we all live to post on WW2 net another day.
