All day the Blue Angels have been flying patterns right over the house and subdivision getting ready for the Airshow this W/E.The lowest flight yet just took place must of been 400-600 feet right over the house and you clearly clearly make out and see the pilot just two cool.I will get to watch all day tomorrow hopefully sunday I get off they have a few Warbirds coming 8) Cheers.
I am trying Aaron I had two come over the house @ 6-700' and got a small clip with video of the camera but damn they were gone before I knew it.Tomorrow I am planning on doing more body work on that POS Chevy of mine and I will have the camera right there.I did not whip out the camera till about 4PM today it is cool though. We boys use to watch the TBirds from the roof when we were kids laying on or back those were the days summer fun and life was simple tree forts and underground forts .Cheers
Well I am no photographer but I took some this afternoon oh about 125 or so and about twenty videos. The show was pretty nice not as many warbirds as in the past but cool was the flying Mig 17!Now that was a sweet gig there. My camera just could not stay focused long enough for the whole flight.I tried to catch the flame in the exhaust but just did not quite get it missed it by mere seconds.
The videos 119-122 are of the Mig and the long vid is the the Warbirds all cranking up at the same time love the sounds of those radials.I tried to get some good inflight videos for Glenn but they were only so-so.I have abunch more pics one of the wheel wells and gear of an F-80(?) under restoration and rigging/fuel/engine systems of the Stearmans. There must of been 5-6 Stearmans out there very pretty planes. The base had 4 C-130's Hurricane Hunters of the 403 SQ I think opened up to walk through.I left before the Angels thinking I get some from my rooftop and I did 2 I think Thurday's flights was more promotional maybe now than anything for they were flying on the other side of town on Friday.Cheers
