What is the true capacity-value for me410's internal fuel tanks? I found many different values

Janes Fighting Aircraft of WWII says that the ME 410 had 6 self sealing tanks with a total capacity of 550 Imperial gallons. Who knows if it's reliable info.
I checked the internet saw a different amount as well.

Jane`s is basically repeating British intel stuff, word by word. It`s more or less reliable.. in this case, it`s fine.

From German datasheets, the Me 410 carried 2420 liter of fuel in total six tanks :

2 x 630 l and
2 x 410 l in the mid-wing section
2 x 170 l in the outer-wing section

In addition the 410B-1 fast bomber is noted being capable of carrying 2 x 300 underwing droptanks, boosting fuel to 3020 liter.

Data from primary German sources (datasheets of 410 variants)

Thx, but...

2 x 410 = 820
2 x 630 = 1260
2x 300 = 600

820+1260+600 = 2680 but u wrote "3020 l", where is the rest?

Source : "Manfred Griehl - Das geheime Typenhandbuch der deutschen Luftwaffe"

It`s mainly short datasheets per manufacturer/subtype for most LW types, from the Bundesarchiv, plus some short, basic information on the type.

Can I found (and download) it as e-book? 8)
