From the Wings Museum website:

Saturday April the 6th at the Wings Museum Balcombe West Sussex from 11am - 3pm

Grab what is likely to be the last public appearance of these wonderful men who flew in such famous types as the Lancaster, Halifax, Stirling, Wellington Bomber and other RAF Bomber Command aircraft.

Veterans of RAF Bomber Command will be attending at the Wings Museum, Balcombe, signing items in aid of The Bomber Command Memorial Fund. A £10 donation to the Bomber Command Memorial Fund is requested to secure all the signatures

This is a rare opportunity to meet a remarkable group of men who, as young men, flew all the British 'heavy' bombers of WW2—the Lancaster, the Halifax and the Stirling, as well as the remarkable Mosquito Fighter/Bomber. Among their number are 3 holders of the D.F.C., aircrew who 'baled out' of their stricken aircraft and were detained as PoWs, 'Pathfinder' pilots and members of 617 'Dambuster' squadron.

The Bomber Command Memorial was dedicated by Her majesty The Queen in London's Green Park on June 28th and commemorates the 55,573 aircrew from Great Britain and her (then) Empire Domin-ions, and also occupied Europe, who lost their lives 1939-1945

It is expected that up to 10 veterans will be available at the Wings Museum from 11am onwards to sign books and prints. Grab what is likely to be the last public opportunity to meet these men and do your bit to help raise funds for the Bomber Command Memorial Project.
