His 'Time Actor' as done by 'Richard Wahnfried' is a favourite too.Klaus Schulze has died.
He was a pioneer of electronic music, including brief collaborations with Tangerine Dream and Ash Ra Temple.
It is impossible to overestimate the influence of the German electronic music pioneers of the '60s and '70s on what became the popular music of the following decades.
Not all Klaus's music was easy, but of his early albums I'd suggest giving 'Timewind' a listen. It was one of the first albums to exploit sequencers, in a similar way to Edgar Froese (Tangerine Dream).
Very sorry to see this. He was a truly gifted composer.Damned!

Wow, so sorry to see that. Its like everyone died today (well, yesterday at this point).Today is a bad day.
We have lost 'Fletch', Andy Fletcher, of Depeche Mode. I toured with Depeche Mode in the nineties and thus knew Fletch, if not well. He was only sixty years old.
Also gone is Alan White. Obituaries all seem to rate him best known for his work with Yes, but I would suggest that his work with just about everyone else was as important. White recorded with ex-Beatles Lennon and Harrison as well as Joe Cocker and a host of others, from Paul Kossoff, to Denny Laine, to Billy Preston. He wasn't one to seek the limelight but was one of Britain's most solid and reliable drummers.

To be honest, I thought I read of his passing years ago.
