Nakajima Sakae 12 engine "governor"

Do you have any information about it?
It looks more like a sort of switch rather then a governor.

Mitsubishi manual says "In place of the governor, attach the oil cock and you can be equipped with the two stage variable pitch propeller."
Nakajima would be same

Nakajima seems to have called it the "variable pitch valve".

It is the valve that was used to control two pitch props before full variable speed came in. Similar valves operating on same principle on British and American engines so probably all other nations as well
