Hi all!

My squadron, 438, will soon be celebrating it's 75th anniversary.

We flew Hawker Typhoons during WW2 and I am looking for good Tyffie pics and action videos.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as I am putting together a montage and short film.

TY!

Hi tachel.

Here some photos and a painting I have, there is a lot out there if you try a Google Image search or a Google video search.

Welcome to the forum

Gnomey, the Jarda Rankl's second photo is connected with the second one You've posted. It is the same Typhoon. Isn't it ?

Hi Gnomey :D :D :D

According The Warpaint series No.5 "Hawker Typhoon", Typhoon JP736 was produced with JP723-756 series as Mark IB - contract Acft/943, contractor Gloster.

I'll be back soon hopefully with a photo I took at RAF museum Hendon.
There is only 1 surviving Typhoon in the world. It has its d-day markings and looks so smart.

I'll be back after some hunting through the photo albums.

Except for the one hanging from the ceiling of a museum in Northern France...I think its the Caen museum.

Sorry about the low quality, I broke my camera when I was there so I had to use my phone.
