You cab see here the gear broke off in two, and the one still attatched has the wheel still attatched to the "axle"
Nevermind the overdone exhaust stains hehe

Lost gun and mount


Weathering a little too heavy probably, opinions are welcome. Once I replace the gear I will tidy up a little and call it a day for this bird

Looks good to me. The struts could be fixed by drilling a small hole in the center of each side of the break, inserting a metal pin, and fusing the parts together with CA glue.

I didn't think of that. I think a length of paper clip would work great. Are there certain things the masters on here do to ensure a straight and sturdy attachment of fiddly landing gear? I quite possibly could have rushed it, maybe this time I will make sure and do one side at a time, allowing proper hardening of parts before gluing the other side.

I basically take my time and use CA glue for strength. The Eduard 110 gear is particularly fiddley.

Yikes...this is an interesting thread as I am building the 1/72 scale Eduard 110 G-2. The landing gear is next for me! I will keep this thread in mind. Thanks.
