Saw that at Hyperscale and it looks nice.

I'm dating myself but I was a teen when a Russian pilot defected in 1976, landing his then mysterious Foxbat in Japan and allowing the west to crawl all over it. Everyone had to have a model of it, me included.

I'm not far behind you, Crimea. I remember reading "MiG Pilot" as a teen, and just very recently picked up another copy (and gave it to Marxist classmate so he could read about the workers paradise that was the Soviet Union from someone who was a cog in that machine).

Read the book as well, really enjoyed it. As for the model, though it looks really nice, even 90$ for one model is too steep for me.

I believe the first model of the Mig-25 (Hasegawa :D) was the mount that the Mig-25 pilot whos name is Viktor Belenko defected with.

Hasegawa released the kit, 100 days after he defected, but I believe that they had access to the aircraft at an airshow before hand (before he actually defected)
