Thanks guys, yeah I am slowly starting to read them. One of the newspapers lists all the names of the people that served in my home town and surrounding area. Need to do some digging as my grandfather should be listed in there somewhere

There are special cases or folders you can store the modern papers in, then tend to fall apart far faster then the ones printed on rag. I have a number from the 1600's that are in far better condition then ones from the 1940's.
