I listen to the 40's channel on Sirius Sat. radio a lot at work and I got to wondering if many of the war era celebrities were aware that their names and/or photos were on the sides of aircraft. I've seen this photo before and just found this link..Nose Art Theme Movie Stars Curious if any aircrew sent the celebrity a photo of their aircraft and got the photo back autographed or acknowledged that they had received the photo.
