What's up with this? Couldn't pin down when it started but I think it's been this way since some time last week.

This is your Chrome Andy. The beginning of the June , the Google started using of the new flag for the HTTP sites trying to enforce all web admins to use the HTTPS encryption for the data transferring between the browser and the website. But gald you informed about that. Horse has to check on the security certificate for the site.

Yes they do, at least Firefox (IE should never be used as it is not maintained anymore). Firefox get a green 'lock' if it is secure or a red one if not.

I'm running both Chrome and Firefox at the same time. Although Firefox crashes frequently, it has a far better bookmark system than any other browser I've used. I use Chrome strictly for this site and foreign sites that need translating. Both have green locks

I think it might be a mixed-content issue. Sometimes ads have content that comes from HTTP vs HTTPS sources. Older version of chrome would display the Not Secure when a site had mixed-content (some content delivered via HTTP others via HTTPS)

I'm not getting this notification using Edge, and can see the certificate O.K.
