Hello there
As my hellcat(F6F-3 Grim reapers)is about to be completed, it's time to think of my next one.
To me,O Hare, one of the original TOP GUN ,is always attractive.
However, comparing with his final cat, F6F-3, the wildcat(white 15 or others) was nearly the only one to be remembered.
So what was this cat probably like?(Kill marks & squadron insignia needed)

Info already collected:
"00" on fuselage(font checked by VF-2 crashed "30")
Buno 66168
Aboard USS Enterprise CV-6
Commander of CAG-6

ANY info is welcomed
Here is my cat stressed by black-basing & CM-like tech

I built his F4F-4 last year. It had his ace kills on it. That is the only decal set I could find for him. His last Wildcat was White 13 according to the research I was able to do. I didn't find much info on his Hellcat. I would love to find more on him, because I am originally from the Chicago area. O'hare International Airport is named for him, and there is a mockup of his F4F-3 in terminal 2.

It was strange that there are few kits or decals of his Hellcat.
