Apollo 8 astronaut William Anders dies in plane crash aged 90

The 90-year-old was piloting the plane when it crashed in Washington state.

Apollo 8 crewman Bill Anders was lost yesterday when his T-34 crashed in Washington State. Bill was known for many things, but his photo "Earthrise" is the most lasting.
