The North East Aircraft Museum in Sunderland is holding a two day event this October on Saturday 8th (10:00 - 21:00) Sunday 9th (10:00 - 17:00) remembering the air raids over Sunderland. The event will include WW2 re-enactors and a Saturday Night Photoshoot.

Quick update on October Blitz:

The event will now include;

-WW/Militart re-enactors vehicles - Crusader80 ( to name just one group ) have confirmed they will be attending.
-Stalls a hot food vendor
-LIVE entertainment (Includes 40's style singers)
-Static Aircraft displays
-A Saturday Night Photo Shoot
-Face Painting

More updates on whats happening to follow..all in all its looking like a great event!! :)

The air show at NAS Oceana, VA got rained out last night. Rain is predicted for the entire week-end, I don't know whether they will fly or not. Parking and admission are free, so if it is cancelled no one loses any money....... except those selling stuff at the air show !
