    there was a documentary on the BBC about this.

    apparently Britain bought 2 off the special photographic machines from Germany through a neutral country to help identify the sites through stereoscopic photo interpretation !

    And I think they might have been of German origin, smuggled via Sweden, and transported to the UK, in pieces, by BOAC Mosquito.
