Which is the best way to paint them (Vallejo)?
They're usually a pain in the....exhaust, when it comes to cover!

I agree Geo, never had any problems with Vallejo either, just that orange, red, white and yellow can be a right pain in the tailpipe when it comes to coverage due to the number of pigments, wish that they were as good as black!
Still remember when working for SAAB and using these colors, it was never popular....😆😂

Which acrylic is best when it comes aforementioned pain in the tailpipe paints?
These are a (insert your choice of sentence enhancer here) nuisance at the best of times, thinking back to my time at SAAB....😅

I'm using pink as a base coat now for yellow and red though all are Tamiya....

Mr Color, every day of the week: never had any issues in many years of using them.

....and the cover is OK? 🤨🤔

Jan, here are Tamiya mixes that Casey on Britmodeller created. I've used a few and they worked for me..... https://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?/topic/235166790-casey-optimal-tamiya-acrylics-mixes/
