Anyhoo, thought that invest in a P-38 or two anyway, see if can find another one with an interesting or impressive scoreboard, found this one....P-38F s/n 43-2166 and coded HV-C from the 27th FS and 1st FG in Tunisia '43....
Happy days...found that Eduard does it in 1/48, in their Limited Edition Early Lightnings....
Oh well, just need to try and find it then....which turned out to be easier said than done, unfortunately....
Anyhoo (again), long story short....digging around for something else....
I definitely need make up a catalogue of some sort....

Jan, I'm part way through building that P-38 HV-C and you can get those decals on sheet 48-048 by Sky Model. I had some interesting discussions about the scheme in my thread here:
