P-51B and C at 31st FG

does anyone know till when were P-51B and C used at 31 FG?

So far, I've found that they got the Mustangs in March '44, the final Spitfire mission flown on March 29. I'll edit the post when I find the end date. The -D arrived around June 20, '44. I don't know if there was a last mission for the -B/C

I meant something else. In summer (August) 1944 they operated with P-51D´s but I´d like to know when they stopped using their P-51B´s and C´s.

I'm about 2/3s of the way through a book about the 31st. No end date yet.

I finished the book Seesul but could find no end date for the B/C. I found a pilot was killed flying a -B on Nov 11 '44 and a pilot made and emergency landing in a -B, Jan. '45

I would think they'd have run them until they were unserviceable and replaced by later models.

At this site 31stfghonor_roll43-44 it would appear that the group operated a number of B/C's until the end of the war.
