What were the dates the various blocks of the P-51D became operational with the FGs in the ETO?

P-51D-5-NA
P-51D-10-NA
P-51D-15-NA
P-51D-20-NA
P-51D-25-NA
P-51D-30-NA
P-51D-5-NT
P-51D-20-NT
P-51D-25-NT
P-51D-30-NT

Have to go back and did up IARCs to get 'somewhat' accurate.

May 25, 1944 is approximate for P-51D-5-NA, August 15 for P-51D-10-NA, November 25 for P-51D-15-NA, December 20 for P-51D-20, March 20, 1945 for P-51D-25. The early P-51D-5-NT and K-1s were operational in late November and K-5s in January, 1945.

These are approximate and you need to review all of the early model breaks of the IARC's for those serial numbers to better precision.

P-51Ds in Europe used both 100/130 and 100/150,but depends on the fuel the units received or depends on the variant. And when did P-51Ds started to use 100/150 in service before 1944.6 or after D-day. And I am very curious about whether RAF used Mustang Mk.IV with +25lbs like Mustang Mk.III or not.

I have some questions about P-51Ds in Europe. First, I know some of the P-51D units used 130 octane some used 150 octane. It depends on the fuel the unit received or the variant of P-51D.Second, when did allies start to use 150 octane for P-51Ds, before D-day or after. The last one, did RAF use +25lbs boost for Mustang Mk.IV like Mustang Mk.III or other intake pressure like +18lbs.

All 8th AF FG's used 150 octane, beginning post D-Day but in June 1944. All P-51B/D Mustangs used 150 Octane despite fouling issues with plugs. The performance advantage was significant with respect to climb and turn up through FTL.

Primary boost for Mk III and IV was 18 lbs but the V-1 Chasers got 150 and 25 lbs
