Parts of a B-24

Hello, I had visited a B-24 crash site in the Austrian Alps. I found some parts and would like to ask if anyone knows anything about the part. Where are they used and what is their function?

As previously stated, the first two and last images are parts of a propeller, attached to the reduction gear box of the power plant. From the number of bolt holes between the blades it does match the type of propeller installed onto a B-24, but it also was used on the B-17, B-25, C-46, C-47, C-54, TBF/TBM, F4U to name just a few examples. From the images, I believe it to be a Hamilton Standard model 23E50 propeller. From the gears in the broken off reduction gear box, it may be able to tell if it was a Pratt & Whitney or Wright radial power plant.

So i have the Information that it was a B-24j (Nr. 44-41017) from the 465th Bomber Group, 782th Squadron, 15th USAAF/Airport "Pantanella" Italy, the Plans was shoot down by an German Fighter at the 8. August 1944, the Pilot and one Gunner was killed, the other Member survived.

The stainless steel bit in image no. 5 is part of a headset assembly that holds the rubber earcup unit to the headset band. One of the crewmembers was likely wearing that set at time of mishap.

if you want to get rid of it, the military museum in Sonntagberg would be happy, there are already parts of the B-24 there

I think all B-24s had 1830 engines. P&W
