Peril's P-40 web site is off?

Gone but not entirely forgotten. You can still find some of raafwarbirds.org.au via the Internet Archive, for example Virtual RAAF Australia. Unfortunately, quite a few things are missing. One big problem is that the Archive follows the rules of the current robots.txt file, so that if someone was to take over the name raafwarbirds.org.au, they could prevent all access. targetrabaul.com gives exactly this problem, probably by accident (a more obviously malicious example is the British Conservative Party changing the file to prevent access to promises made on their site before the 2010 election). Thus people may want to make their own copies of what is left.

Thanks for the feedback.
It is the documents hosted on the Peril's web size I'm mostly interested in, and those are seldom (never?) saved by wayback machines and similar.

Ive been using Wayback to read these documents quite successfuly. none of the ones I've tried have been missing. remember to check multiple snapshots if you do find something not there.
